biography:

shum is the one-man project of gábor varsás (he/they) born from the ideas of his and norbert tóth in 2016, miskolc.

since then the project has been experimenting with a wide range of sounds and styles over the years, initially starting with dynamic and static forms of harsh noise, embodying fear and panic in auditory form, finding escape in lush and wide pallette of textures, timbres and sounds. later this concept moved onto the domain of synthesizer and guitar-centered music, drone metal and black metal, with noise and the love for extremely abrasive sounds staying a prominent element.
